About the artist

Mirthe van den Berg creates emotional artworks, influenced by her lived experiences, such as becoming disabled and severely ill at a young age, and other topics that she feels strongly about.
In her conceptual work she combines her love for ethereal, painterly and cinematic aesthetics and explores the intersection of realism and surrealism, often by creating new worlds through digital manipulation (no ai).
